Breathe Networks Limited's advice for Biscit/V21 customers (23 March 2007)
Biscit Limited Internet was placed into administration by its founder, Nathan Relevy, on 5 March as a result of financial problems relating to its acquisition of V21. Biscit has no employees and so is unable to provide you with technical support, customer service and will not be able to respond to your queries.
However, we are keen to assist Biscit/V21 customers who would like help, and so we have produced these FAQs for you.
If you have a MAXSURF login, then please go here: http://www.breathe.com/maxsurf as Maxsurf customers are already on our network and don't need to worry about their connections.

How do I transfer to breathe or another supplier?
If you are a Broadband customer, to move to another supplier, you will first of all have to get a Migration Authorisation Code (MAC) from Biscit or their wholesaler. The MAC code will allow you to sign-up with another broadband provider.
Please call our Biscit migration line on 0870 740 5836 and they will be delighted to tell you how to get your code - they are very busy at the moment, so they may have to take your number and call you back!
Alternatively, you can contact BT Wholesale directly on 0800 169 0934 and select Option 1.
DIALUP
If you are a dial-up customer, you do not need to get a MAC code, and you sign-up right away with us or any other supplier for a new dial-up or Broadband account - we suggest that you sign-up for a new Internet account as quickly possible in case your existing connection is ceased.

I've got my MAC from BT - how do I sign-up with Breathe?
If you've got your MAC and you are ready to sign-up with breathe, please call our Call Centre on 0870 740 5836 and they will be happy to take your through our packages, or you can click on one of buttons below to get started - just select the package that is right for you and enter your MAC to get signed-up - we'll connect you to our network as soon as we can and you will be able to see that it's amazing what happens when you breathe!

Are V21 customers the same as Biscit Customers?
Yes, all of V21's customers were passed to Biscit as part of the sale agreed last year, and so any reference to Biscit customers includes V21 and former Fast4 customers who moved to V21.
What will happen to my email and hosting?
At this stage, we believe that those will stop working, and so you should make alternative plans. Anyone signing-up with Breathe will get a new breathe.co.uk email address.
You should back-up any content you have on your Biscit hosting account and get ready to migrate it somewhere else. If you sign-up for a Breathe Bronze broadband account or above, you will receive web-hosting as part of your package.
I believe that Biscit owe me money! With whom should I speak?
Any debts or legal issues that you need to discuss in relation to your previous relationship with Biscit should be addressed to its administrator.
